Geography
Altitude mt. 34 o.s.l. surface town kmq. 183,6.
Modena rises along the tall Emiliana lowland and it is situated between the Secchia and Panaro's rivers.
The city is a big agricultural and industrial market: the heart is very fertile
and the popolation has carried the sector of the agriculture to the same level of the industry.
The tourism is much developed, attracted all by Emiliana kitcken. The best period to
visit Modena is during the seasons change to avoid the soffocating sun of the summer and
cold fogs of the winter.
Monuments
Clock Tower built in the 1552 and restored in the 1669.
Town Palace built in the last years of 1100, but is restored and widened in the 1624.
Ducal Palace built in the 1629 and finished in the XIX century,
Monumental Temple erect in the 1933 in memory of wars dead.
